PHCCIMA FOREIGN MISSIONS: TREASURER/HEAD OF FOREIGN MISSIONS URGES MORE PARTICIPATION TO UNLOCK VISTAS OF OVERSEAS OPPORTUNITIES

Treasurer of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce and Head of Foreign mission, Mrs. Stella Agada has urged corporate bodies, captains of industries interested individuals in Rivers state and beyond to leverage on the opportunities provided by the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce Foreign Mission desk and unlock vistas of opportunities in overseas capable of boosting and taking businesses to the next level.

Agada who made this call following the upcoming Afro Business Expo & Summit coming up in the Reading, United Kingdom from 30th July to 1stAugust said the upcoming UK event is coordinated by the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with a renowned group, CRU-Network Limited of United Kingdom and urged all to take advantage of the easy visa procurement and low participation cost and incentives for individuals going through the chamber.

She said foreign missions were previously exclusive preserve of financial members of Port Harcourt chamber of Commerce, but said due to the magnanimity and benevolence of PHCCIMA President, Engr. Emeka Unachukwu, foreign missions are now made open to even non-members to create more openings and provide opportunities for a greater number of persons willing to travel and get vital foreign links for their businesses.

The PHCCIMA Treasurer who said, Foreign mission is something that provides openings and motivation required to boost businesses, said it should be a necessity for every business man/woman who wants to take his/her business to the next level.

Hear her: 'Today we have taken the privilege to invite, Raphael Mena Obrike, MD/CEO of United Kingdom based CRU-Network Limited and Principal Consultant of Afro Business Expo & Summit slated for Reading. He was giving opportunity to make presentations during the PHCCIMA monthly council meeting to create awareness on the benefits of Afro Business Expo & Summit, give credence on the significance of the expo/ summit and of course the dynamics of participating' she said.

The PHCCIMA monthly council meeting also witnessed presentation by, Mr. Kunle Ajagbe, partner, Perchstone & Graeys and consultant to the Indian Chamber of Commerce. He spoke on the benefits of having trade, health, tourism and other collaborative business ties between Nigeria and India. Ajagbe who is also mandated to facilitate a business delegation from Nigeria to India later in the year, had identified the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce as a strategic group with soaring potentials, commending the leadership and the respect it commands in the comity of chambers in the country.
