By Rivers PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter has expressed its deepest sympathy to the Vice President, Arch. Namadi Sambo and the entire Namadi family over the sudden death of Captain Sabo Sambo, immediate younger brother of the Vice President which unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, April 27, 2014.

The party in a statement signed by Jerry Needam, Special Adviser, Media to the State Chairman, Prince Felix Obuah described the death of Captain Sabo Sambo as most shocking, regretting that the renowned retired pilot had to do down at a time he was settling down for private life.

Castigating death as a coward silencer, the statement however pointed out that though good men must die, but death cannot kill their names.

And pinpointing the immense contributions of the most respectable Sambo family to the development of our fatherland, Nigeria, the PDP said the country will forever remain indebted to them, believing their good deeds will not go unrewarded.

The party enjoined the Vice President, Namadi Sambo and the entire family to take solace in the fact that his younger brother did not die in vain and has only gone to reconcile with the Almighty God, his Creator.

It also prayed God to grant the departed soul of Captain Sabo Sambo a peaceful rest and to those he left behind, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
