THE GORY TREND OF RITUAL MURDERS AND SALE OF HUMAN PARTS IN NIGERIA!
I woke up a few days ago with a start....jolted by the gory news....complemented by the graphic picture of the mutilated body of a female student of a Nigerian university who was killed by cultists......after being thoroughly gang-raped....for refusing to sleep with one of them!
Diseased minds...yet having support among the laity, the polity and the academia! Their fathers and mothers are cultists! Their grandparents and distant forebearers were cultists! The nation still publicly embraces cultism in the name of culture! Traditional kings and high chiefs are still buried with human heads! Traditional curfews....usually at nights.....or even spanning whole days still abound in our communities! Called "Isemo" in my native land of Ikorodu or "Oro" in other parts of Yorubaland, town criers visibly warn that "people may organise search parties for their missing goats but not their missing relations.....in the full glare of the public...and the police! Yet we all come on Facebook and pretend! The upturned society is occultic....no thanks to the many dungeons of death scattered all over the nation.....where fellow humans are sheered into pieces.....for a price.... This is not an isolated incident! Nigeria quite unfortunately, is a society of cults. You dare mention the Ogbonis and the ROFs, and some fellow Facebooker would caution you that you are out of line! We are a nation of savages!
And people are afraid to talk about these things. I have a horrid half-sister who for instance is always snooping on my Facebook Profile to report to my aged mother....all admonishing me that I am not the only one the putrid clime....the odious polity of Nigeria affects! These are small minds....no apologies! My counsel and prayer is that those that turn a blind eye to the plight of others....so long as it does not affect them directly yet....and go the extra mile to restrain others who are accursed to do something about it....would find their loved ones the direct victims of these atrocities! This is a curse! I am enraged! No aoplogies!
Haba! How can those in govt be aiding and abetting human sacrifice in this day and age! Our rulers belong to one cult group or the other....selecting members to important national positions over beer, grub and obscenities. Bloody idiots! They pretend to fight cultism.....but how can they....when they eat and drink from the gains of cultism.....wearing lousy emblems and other insignia....in courts and police stations....or making furtive gestures....so their members in charge can pervert justice in their favour....or throw contracts they are least qualified for in their direction....or help them pass exams! A nation ruled by animals in human skins....where the normal appear unrealistic.....and the abnormal hold sway!
My words of appreciation go to all members who have displayed uncommon courage to offer supportive comments on this sordid matter. Thank you all....and may you or yours never fall victims to these mutilators....because you care. And may you not be surrounded by selfish relations like mine....whose gumption do not match their ages to moderate...or modify their comments....who do not realise that what affects some affects all. I thank you most sincerely....
