E.A.C.O.E.D at a Standstill.

Consequent on the strike action embarked on by the College of Education Academic Staff Union of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education. The campus is at a standstill as the strike has paralyzed academic activities on the campus.

The union is on strike to successfully press home their demands from Oyo state government in as much strike is the only language the government understands regarding labour affair. Some of the demands of the union are: payment of hazard allowance, payment of backlog of arrears,improved working conditions amoung others. In the same vein, the college management headed by the Acting Provost, Mr G.O Oyewobi have given inter-semester break to N.C.E students till further notice as the strike has disrupted the proposed commencement of their examination.

However,series of congress is on course while dialogue is also going on in the interest of all.
