The governorship standard bearer  of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has said that he will not join issues with his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart in the June 21 governorship election.

Fayose challenged his critics, who were currently accusing him of corruption

and other sundry vices while in office to come up with fresh allegations.

The PDP flagbearer, while speaking with newsmen at the weekend, challenged his critics, who are currently accusing him of corruption and other sundry vices while in office, to come forward with fresh allegations because the old ones against him have been sufficiently addressed.

He said his decision was not a sign of weakness but a sign of maturity which he claims he has gained over the years.

Fayose said, “I have vowed not to join issues with anyone on any matter between now and June 21.

“This is to show that Ayo Fayose is now more matured than his first term in

office as the governor of Ekiti.
“I am going to focus on politics of issues. My intention is to concentrate on our campaigns to ensure that we do not only win but have a landslide victory.”

He said he would henceforth concentrate on his strategies in ensuring that the PDP reclaimed the state from APC.

He said the strength of the APC was based on media propaganda.
