Fani-Kayode In Another Aso Rock Meeting
Former aviation minister, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, was yesterday again at the presidential villa, Abuja, where met with the chief of staff (CoS) to the president, General Jones Arogbofa (rtd).
He left immediately after meeting with the CoS without proceeding to the president's office.
This is coming barely 24 hours after he refuted reports in the media that he may be nursing plans to dump his party, the All Progressives Congress and join the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2015 elections.
Fani-Kayode had on Tuesday visited Aso Villa where he held a closed-door meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan, raising public suspicion that he was on his way out of the opposition.
He had told journalists that, while he would make public his next line of action at the appropriate time, he would not associate himself with a group or political party that promotes a particular religion above another.
