Amangbo Is New CEO Of Zenith Bank Plc

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, March 31, (THEWILL) - Zenith Bank Plc has appointed Mr.

Peter Olisamedua Amangbo, an executive director of the bank, as its new managing director and chief executive officer.

Amangbo succeeds Mr.
Godwin Emefiele, who was last week confirmed as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) by the Senate.

In a filing Monday at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Zenith Bank said, Amangbo, who has been at the bank for about 21 years, will become CEO with effect from June 11, 2014.

Amangbo holds a B.
Sc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from University of Benin (1988), P-GD in Computer Science and MBA (1995).

A former PricewaterhouseCoopers staff, he qualified as a chartered accountant and joined Zenith Bank in 1993.
