Fayose's Men Burgle Ekiti PDP Secretariat, Move Away Membership Registers

By Ekiti PDP

Two days after the meeting held in the Abuja residence of Chief Olabode George where Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirants from Ekiti State agreed to the consensus arrangement, agents of one of the aspirants, former governor Ayodele Fayose have burgled the State secretariat of the party and carted away the party membership registers.

The State Secretary of the party, Mr TKO Aluko, was alleged to be behind the criminal act, which was carried out by his Personal Assistant known as Tupac and driver know as Dele.

Membership Register of the party on Local Governments by Local Government basis, which were at the Admin Office were carted away.

The matter has already been reported at the Ologede Police Station, Ado-Ekiti.

Though reason behind this criminal act was yet to be ascertained, it was believed that the registers were carted away to frustrate the plan for a consensus candidate.

A post on social media by Ekiti Liberators read; "This is TKO Aluko and Fayose's last criminal effort to destroy the PDP and we must all rise against this.

"It is also because of this crooked means that Fayose is insisting on primary while other aspirants have agreed on consensus.

"They want to go to court to stop the consensus arrangement.

"Fayose and TKO Aluko should leave PDP alone and let them go and contest the governorship under their own party if they are so sure of their popularity.

"Ekiti PDP leaders, please, act now! Tell Fayose these APC agents to leave PDP alone!"

It should be recalled that Fayose came late to the meeting held in Chief Bode George's residence yesterday.

He (Fayose) had wanted to shun the meeting, claiming illness but he was summoned to the meeting by the party leaders.

Indication that Fayose was not going to abide with the decision taken at the meeting became rife when his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi posted on Facebook; "KEREOOOOOOO, Where are the leaders of the PDP in Ekiti? Who took our case to Bode George, the notorious horse trader who despite huge sums of money he collected for Lagos election, failed to deliver? Ekiti PDP demands to know Bode George's interest in Ekiti and not Osun."
