BREAKING NEWS: Maiduguri Under Siege As Soldiers Battle Boko Haram

BEVERLY HILLS, March 14, (THEWILL) - The city of Maiduguri, Borno State is under siege as soldiers push back members of the Boko Haram, who early Friday morning attempted to seize the Giwa Barracks located in the heart of the city.

THEWILL gathered from reporters in Maiduguri that apprehensive residents of the city are presently seeking shelter just as students, pupils and workers are presently making their way back home as massive explosions and rapid cracks of gunfire envelop the city.

45am assaults were still ongoing as military planes and helicopters were seen circling the city and bombarding positions held by the Boko Haram.
