SAN FRANCISCO, March 01, (THEWILL) - Four days after he was kidnapped at his residence in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Chief Inengite Nitabai, the septuagenarian foster father of President Goodluck Jonathan, may not regain his freedom unless a whopping  N500m ransom is paid as demanded by his captors.

The kidnappers who had been incommunicado finally opened up to the family of their captive  with the demand after three day of anxiety and fear by the family and symphatisers.

And just as his family members were jolted by the demand which they considered very outrageous, the abductors of the septuagenarian foster father of President Jonathan also threatened to kill the old man if  time is wasted in meeting their demand.

It was gathered that the family members are still rattled by the ugly development and are trying to establish contact with the gunmen to ensure his safe return even as the kidnapper warned against the involvement of the police in the matter.

'The kidnappers contacted the family four days after and demanded a whooping sum of N500m.

It is believed that the family of the victim has begun negotiations with the hoodlums,' a security source who spoke on condition of anonymity said.
