Former Works Minister, Isaiah Chawai Balat Dead

BEVERLY HILLS, February 18, (THEWILL) - Senator Isaiah Balat, 61, a former Minister of Works and ex Senator of the Federal Republic is dead, according to close associates.

Information on the cause of death was still sketchy as at press time.

Senator Balat was until his demise a Special Adviser to the Vice President Namadi Sambo.

Born on October 23, 1952, the politician and business represented Kaduna South at the Senate from May 2003 to May 2007.
