Controversial Rivers Police Commissioner Removed

BEVERLY HILLS, February 06, (THEWILL) - Mr.
Joseph Mbu, the controversial Commissioner of Police in Rivers State has been removed and reassigned to Abuja by the Police Service Commission (PSC) with immediate effect.

The PSC in a statement named Mr.
Johnson Tunde Ogunshakin of the Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi, Lagos as the new Police Commissioner for Rivers.

Mbu has been at loggerheads with the Rivers State Governor, Mr.

Rotimi Amaechi and supporters of the APC following the struggle for the control of political in the state between the Presidency and Amaechi
