FRSC Zanfara command condemns bullion van recklessness

The Zamfara State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Monday condemned the increasing recklessness of some bullion van drivers in the state.

The Sector Commander, Alhaji Haliru Halilu made the condemnation in an interview with newsmen in Gusau.

Halilu said that the recklessness by security and bullion van drivers was threat to lives and property because they do not consider the rights of the other road users.

Halilu noted that such recklessness was gross violation of road traffic rules and regulations’.

”We are going to collaborate with banks management and security agencies to train their drivers on how to adhere to road traffic regulations,” he said.

The state house of assembly had earlier urged security agencies and the management of banks to caution their drivers over the matter.
