Mark loses younger sister

President of the Senate , Senator David Mark on Wednesday lost his younger sister Mrs. Mary Onma Adakole.

Late Mrs. Adakole , aged 35, died in Abuja after a child birth.

She will be buried in her home town, Otukpo, Benue State on Friday (17/01/14) according to her younger brother Igoche Mark.

Igoche Mark described his late sister ” as a straight forward, hardworking and benevolent with plenty of vision and hope for a greater tomorrow , saying “the death is a huge loss to our family”.

Meanwhile, Deputy President of the Senate Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Senate leader Victor Ndoma-Egba , his Deputy Abdul Ningi, Senators Ifeanyi Okowa, Suleiman Adokwe, James Manager and Ayogu Eze were among early callers to commiserate with the President of the Senate in his Apo residence.

Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam, Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, Petroleum's Deziani Madueke, Water Resources' Sarah Ochekpe, Interior's Comrade Abba-Moro as well as Minister of State, Trade and Investment Dr. Sam Ortom were among those who paid condolence visit to Senator Mark yesterday.
