Okorocha Encourages Youth Creativity In Nigeria And Africa At Large

Rochas Okorocha has encouraged youth creativity in the country as he received a portrait painting from a distinguished youth ambassador and Artist Mmeri okoro.

Mmeri okoro, a graduate of History and international studies from the University of Nigeria Nsukka has served as a youth ambassador in several areas of service to human development, touching lives with his gift of drawing and painting. Interestingly, he has not studied the art of drawing or painting in any institution but says that practise animates mastery and this applies to all God given talents, which he encourages Nigerian and African youths to imbibe for self development to thrive always.

Governor Rochas Okorocha, a leader who believes strongly in youth development and empowerment, encourages youth creativity, skill and entrepreneurship in the country, says that a nation that encourages the gifts, talents and full potentials of the younger generation has automatically secured the future. The Governor believes that “a leader thinks about the next generation while a politician thinks about the next election”.

He encourages youths to always embrace Creativity, Gods given gifts and talents,entrepreneurship, vocation made available to them to become responsible to themselves and the society at large, saying youths should imbibe the spirit of self-development to thrive always.

Mmeri Okoro says that the Rochas Okorocha administration is the only administration that has given youths the greatest platform to explore their gifts,talents,potentials and skills.

Mmeri Okoro has also painted several distinguished Nigerians including Nigeria's President Goodluck jonathan, Noble laureate, Wole Soyinka, Akwaibom state governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio amongst others.

He participated actively at the 2012 National Economic Youth Summit with the theme 'Repositioning the youth for active participation in an emerging economy' as the only artist delegate where he showcased an amazing painting of president Goodluck Jonathan and encouraged Nigerian youth to embrace creativity for development to thrive in the country.

He encourages youths to look inward and rediscover themselves, there is a potential within that has to be exploited for human development.
