Capitalisation hits record N12.9tn on sustained equity gains

The  NSE All-Share appreciated by 0.59 per cent to close at 40,472.13 as against 40,231.68 recorded on Friday last week.

Also, the market capitalisation, which opened at N12.875 trillion rose by N77 billion or 0.59 per cent to close at N12.952 trillion.

Oando led the gainers' table by N2.03 kobo per share close at N22.00 kobo per share; UBA Capital came second on the gainers' chart with a gain of N0.17 kobo per share to close at N1.8 9kobo per share while Neimeth lose by N0.10 kobo per share to close at N1.15 kobo per share.

Union Dicon Salt, on the flip side,  topped the losers' chart.

It dropped N0.55 kobo per share to close at N10.45 kobo per share.

DN Meyer followed with a loss of N0.07 kobo per share to close at N1.41 kobo per share while FCMB dropped N0.17 Kobo per share to close at N3.64 kobo per share.

In all, a total of 423,655,846 shares valued at N3.8 billion were exchanged 4,206 deals.
