Consumers who participated in the just-concluded consumer promo tagged: 'LG Mobile Christmas Bonanza' that produced more winners at the last draw which was held in Lagos recently have commended LG Electronics.

The LG Mobile Christmas Bonanza which commenced in December 2009 ended recently with a star prize winner of N1 million, second prize , N750,000, third prize winner of N500,000 and fourth prize winners of one hundred thousand naira each emerging in the last draw.

Mr. Mathew Talabi from Lagos emerged the star prize winner of one million naira, while Mr. Chukwujekwu from Lagos and Ms. Alice Adara, all emerged winners of second and third prize winners of N75 0,000 and N500,000 respectively.

Mr. Shola Adetoku from Lagos, Mrs. Eucharia from Port Harcourt, Ms. Fatima Hazan from Kano and Mr. Ofudu Obi from Abuja, all emerged winners of one hundred thousand naira.

Also emerging winners of branded LG products were over a hundred people who won 29' Flat TVs, Refrigerators, Home Theatres, Air conditioners and Micro Wave Ovens.

Fifty people won Mobile Phones and DVD Players. Some of the winners who were instantly called on their mobile phones expressed excitement and gratitude to LG Mobile.

In his remarks at the closing draw of the promo, the General Manager, LG Mobile Communications, Mr. Steve Koh, said, 'We set out on a simple mission to reward our consumers for their loyalty throughout the year by keying into the festive season bearing in mind it is a season of love and appreciation.

'We are happy and excited to announce that we are ending with a resounding success, connection and bonding with our consumers. We are really grateful to our consumers for their participation in this promo. We will not relent in our efforts to continue to seek out better ways/platforms of bonding with our consumers and advancing good life through our quality products.'

Mrs. Daramola Oluwatoyin, the Compliance Officer of Lagos State Lotteries Board, who was the Special Guest of Honour, commended LG Electronics for its effort to reward their consumers, urged other multinationals and even smaller corporations to emulate LG.

The consumers who were present lauded LG for putting together the Christmas Bonanza which according to them made it easy for everyone to participate and win. Recounting her experience, Miss Joy Ehidimen, winner of N100,000, said she bought an LG phone and filled the raffle form just for filling sake.

She did not believe it when she was informed via a phone call from LG that she had won until she was presented with the cheque. She therefore, expressed her gratitude to LG Electronics for giving her the opportunity of winning N100, 000 and living up to its promise. Miss Ehidimen, who was full of smiles, disclosed that it was her first time of participating in a promotion and emerging as a winner. Other winners present had similar stories to tell.

The promo produced over 200 winners. The promo also produced many first time winners who confessed that it was the first time of participating in a raffle draw and winning all kind of prizes.

In a statement, Mr. Manish Dhami, Manager, LG Electronics thanked consumers who participated in the promo and assured that LG will always seek out ways of putting smiles on the faces of its consumers.
