Medical Director in Maiduguri hails Nurses for discipline, commitment

The Medical Director of the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, Maiduguri, Dr Isah Rabebe, has commended the nurses in the hospital for exhibiting a high sense of understanding and discipline.

Speaking at the end-of -year award by the Association of Psychiatric Nurses of Nigeria in Maiduguri on Friday, Rabebe charged the nurses to brace up for more challenges of nursing as a tool for effective healthcare delivery.

He said the hospital had provided a conducive working environment for the nurses to give the best medical attention to the hospital's patients.

The director commended the association for rewarding its outstanding members, while calling on others to emulate the awardees.

Also speaking, Alhaji Muhammad Haruna, the chairman of the association, emphasised the need for psychiatric nurses to extend their services to other hospitals in the state as part of its efforts to reach the larger community.
