Nigerian Human Rights Activists Visit S.A. High Commission Over Mandela's Demise

On Monday December 9th 2013, a team of Nigeria-based human rights activists visited the Nigerian South African Embassy in Abuja to present letter of condolences to the people of South Africa over the demise recently of the former post -apartheid leader of South Africa Mr. Nelson Mandela.


The Nigerian human rights team was led by the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria [CRC] Comrade Shehu Sani alongside Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko of the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria [HURIWA] and Miss. Chinaza Joy Okereke of the Association of African Writers on Human and Peoples Rights [AFRIRIGHTS].

We were received by the Deputy South African High Commissioner to Nigeria Mr. Kenneth J. Pedro.
