President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Dr. Felix Omobude has received the Voice Magazine African Personality Award for his role in the stabilization of the Pentecostal movement in Africa.
The Publisher and Editor in Chief of the Voice Magazine Pastor Elvis Iruh who made the presentation to Dr. Omobude in his office in Benin City, said his vision to see all persons saved is highly commendable.
“You are a man that many caps fit his head, therefore it was not difficult for us to make a choice which award was appropriate for you sir. You have made success of your ministry as spiritual head and General Superintendent, New Covenant Church, Benin City. Edo State, Nigeria.
“What stands out is that your ministry is very functional in equipping the body of Christ, not just in Nigeria but in Africa and the rest of the world. When we talk about the growth in the Pentecostal movement in Africa before the count of ten names, you will be mentioned and this is in recognition of your valuable contributions to the advancement of the Christian faith.
“Your role in the stabilization of the Pentecostal movement and your appointment as its President is a testimony to your hard work and commitment to the good course of the gospel,” he noted.
The Voice Magazine Publisher maintained that Dr. Omobude has helped to strategixe, evaluate and implement several agendas to keep the Pentecostal faith stronger and successful during his tenure.
“Religion with discipline which we don't see often again in the society is what has adore you to thousands of followers around the world. Today therefore you are being recognized as the Voice Magazine Achievers Award winner for 2013 as Outstanding Personality of the year Our intention is that this award will motivate you to do greater exploit for the betterment and advancement of Christian values in the interest of humanity in general worldwide,” he added.
According to him, “the official award ceremony took place on October 11 2013 at Var Der Valk hotel in Almere, the Netherlands where the award was received on his behalf by the Editor in Chief who excused your absence because of other national assignment during the period of the ceremony.”
The PFN President, Dr. Felix Omobude who expressed his appreciation to the Voice Magazine for recognizing his little humble efforts, assured that he will continue to do the very best to spread the light of the gospel.
“We will continue with the unity and sanctity of the body of Christ, continue with our commitment in education, health and other endeavor to the global community and we can do more with this confidence placed on my person,” he noted.
