Anambrarians Jubilate In Anticipation Of Obiano’s Emergence As Winner

There are reports of wild jubilation across Onitsha, Ekwulobia, Awka, Nkpor, Aguleri, Ayamelum and Nteje amongst others towns in Anambra State in anticipation of the announcement of Chief Willie Obiano, APGA's gubernatorial candidate in the just ended Anambra election as the Independent National Electoral Commission raps up the rescheduled polling in the Idemili area of the state.

Most voters in the only state in the federation controlled by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) had waited with baited breath after voting massively for Chief Obiano whom unconfirmed results show as having established a comfortable lead in the polling that took place across the state at the weekend.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Obiano has swept 17 of the 21 local government areas in the state and stands in in pole position to be announced the next governor of Anambra State in the next few hours.
