MAPAMA TO HOLD CONVENTION

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Muslim Alumni (MAPAMA) will hold its 2013 National Convention on Saturday 23 November, 2013.

A statement by the national president, Lukman Junayd said that the convention with the theme "Creating Wealth through Sustainable Business Partnership" will be holding at LCCI Conference Hall, Central Business District, Alausa, Lagos.

Junayd emphasized that this year's MAPAMA convention's topic is a contemporary one specifically chosen to empower members in their businesses and professions, noting that the association has been empowering members through its various programmes.

According to him, members have benefitted from many topical presentations at the monthly forum across states while the Association has been implementing many welfare schemes for undergraduates at the Alma mata as well as members.

The statement further stated that Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, a distinguished alumni and member of Mapama, will be the Special Guest of Honour while the Group Head, Non-Interest Banking , Sterling Bank Plc, Dr Basheer Oshodi will be the guest speaker. Chairman, Board of Trustees of MAPAMA, Alhaji Waheed Kadiri will be the Chief Host.
