The governor, who said that his mission in governance was to ensure the rapid development of the state and to better the lots of the people, added that he would remain resolute in achieving the aim.
While attributing the various achievements of his administration to the support and prayers of religions leaders in the state, he appealed to them not to relent in their prayers for the success of his administration.
In his sermon, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye admonished Christians to be diligent in seeking the face of God, saying that God would always reward those who seek Him diligently and consistently.
In his remarks, the Presiding Bishop of Christ Life Church, Bishop Francis Wale Oke commended Governor Ajimobi for the prevailing peace in the state and the various development projects so far executed by his government.
'There is no state as peaceful as Oyo under the leadership of Governor Ajimobi in Nigeriatoday. There is peaceful co-existence among all the people and you can see developments manifesting in every nook and cranny of state. This is commendable,'' Bishop Oke remarked.
