Lobi Stars opened scoring through Joshua Agbanji in the 15th minute with a powerful shot from outside the 18-yard box.

Christian Obiozor restored parity for the white antelopes in the 37th minute with a header and put victory beyond the visitors in the 50th minute with his second goal to give Rangers the three maximum points.

Obiozor was adjudged the man of the match by Super Sports, a television outfit that rates the players.

The striker has so far scored three goals since he joined the white antelopes in the second stanza of the league.

Reacting to the scoreline, the striker expressed happiness for the award and praised the coaches for giving him the opportunity to score the goals.

“I have to repay the coaches' faith in me for giving me the opportunity to play for Rangers; more will still come our way,' Obiozor told newsmen.

He also rated Lobi high in the match, saying it was one of the toughest matches he had played for Rangers.

“Lobi meant business. Thank God we won in spite of their early goal scare,' he said.
