PDP STUDENTS LEADERS DUMP PARTY FOR APC EN-MASS

All Progressives Congress scored another important political point yesterday, August 24, 2013, in Owerri when PDP student leaders with their followers dumped PDP for APC.

Speaking to the mammoth crowd during a meeting of the South East mof APC Students Support Group after declaring for APC, Ugochukwu Chinedum, former chairman of the PDP students' Round Table, who spoke for the students harped on the need to address some issues that bother on Development and unity of the Nigeria. He regretted fourteen years of PDP rule that has rather impoverished the people the more.

He however decried the less than creative nature of the students wing of PDP Students Arm which is characterized with jamboree. He extolled the brilliance and intellectual inputs so far made in APC and strongly believe that the progressive elements in APC will turn Nigeria around to achieve its potential greatness.

"We have watched and followed developments in APC, we discovered that they are on course with the agenda to rescue Nigeria from its present sorry state. We believe that if Nigeria must be better, we must also show that by our action. We are happy with the initiatives of the leadership of APC Students Support Group (APC - SSG) led by Imo State Youth Ambassador, Comrade Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel and his team, which make for deep thinking on the way forward to contributing towards putting Nigeria on a progressive part", he enthused.

Ugochukwu Chinedum revealed that over two thousand members of the student group are in wait for a formal declaration in fourth night. Meanwhile, as the time of filing this report effort to get to the Coordinator of PDP StudentS Arm, Imo State Chapter State was futile.
