Night Shift
The colossal moon conquered the night
To crown the dew-decked dockworkers
With beaded beards and knocked knees
Like the shore colonised by angry waves
The geriatric skies charmed geographers
Like gems basking upon huge mountains
Broken shadows numbered their heyday
Like pregnant clouds travailing in the sky
The fleet of waves arrived like a colossus
Commissioned to shifting us numerically
Like the dehydrated leaves dancing nude
To sing the aerial songs in the eerie vase
They shattered the night on the dreamer
Like woodpeckers loaded on a tree truck
Huge cocks committed to breaking news
Desecrated the moon to sanctify the sun
