RIVERS CRISIS: IGP summons House leader, Chidi Lloyd, Amaechi's CSO

In continuation of its investigation into the Rivers State House of Assembly crisis, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Wednsday summoned the leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Chidi Lloyd, and the Chief Security Officer to Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Tony Iwelu to report to Force headquarters for interrogation.

They are to report to Force CID, Abuja for an interview in respect of their roles as seen in the video clips in circulation.

The invitation of the House leader and the CSO followed the earlier appearance of the ADC to the governor, ASP Debeware Semeikumo and the Escort Commander at both Force headquarters and before the DIG Philemon Leha panel. Details later
