Anodoaka's Markudi residents celebrate Yar'Adua's return
Residents of Makurdi in the North-Central zone of Nigeria have expressed happiness
over the return of President Umaru Yar'Adua from Saudi Arabia after a three-month
absence for medical treatment.
Makurdi residents, who spoke to newsmen in abuja, said they expected the President to
settle down to business immediately.
Many of the residents took to the street to jubilate in different styles, as they expressed
hope that President Yar'Adua could resume work to revert Dr. Jonathan's demotion of
the former Attorney General Michael Anodoakaa who was redeployed to Special duties
ministries.
