First Bank says Finacle 10 will enhance services
First Bank of Nigeria Limited has successfully upgraded to the Finacle 10 banking application, the bank said on Wednesday.
The Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Mrs. Folake Ani-Mumuney, in a statement, said the upgrade would pave the way for enhanced services and financial solutions for its customers.
According to her, the commercial bank has resumed normal operations after the successful upgrade. This, according to her, marks the beginning of a new era of enhanced customer experience and service excellence in the bank.
The bank's spokesperson expressed the gratitude of the bank to customers for their patience and understanding during the upgrade process last weekend.
'We are delighted to inform our customers that the Finacle 10 banking application is now live and we would like to express our gratitude to our customers all over the world for the opportunity we have to serve them. The upgrade has put us on a higher pedestal of service excellence as we pledge our continued resolve to serving our customers with passion and cutting edge technology,' she said.
She further highlighted the advantages inherent in the successful upgrade. She said According to her, with the upgrade, First Bank's platform would now drive paperless deposits and withdrawals, enhanced security and convenience for Internet Banking, Instant card issuance at all branches, support the bank’s international rollout plans, and facilitate new lines of businesses including financial inclusion, wealth management and Islamic banking.
