Visit to Japan of H.E. Mr. Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa, and First Lady Mrs. Zuma

TOKYO, Japan, May 28, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- From Monday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 5, H.E. Mr. Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma, of the Republic of South Africa, and First Lady Mrs. Thobeka Stacie Madiba Zuma will pay a working visit to Japan following their participation to TICAD V (the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on African Development).

While in Japan, President of Zuma will hold a meeting with Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan. In addition, President Zuma is scheduled to exchange of opinions with Japanese business leaders regarding economic relationship between the two countries.

It is expected that this visit by President Zuma and Mrs. Zuma will serve to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Japan and South Africa.
