OGUN NIPR TO SHOWCASE BEST WAEC/NECO STUDENTS

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Ogun State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has resolved to showcase outstanding students in West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as well as National Examination Council (NECO).

The Chairman of the chapter, Mr Tope Adaramola unveiled the plan during the monthly business meeting held at the state secretariat, on Thursday in Abeokuta.

Addressing members on partnership with corporate organisations, Adaramola stressed that plan was to inspire future outstanding students, citing a city such as Monrovia where student champions are hyped in their street billboards to encourage budding learners.

Also, speaking on the topic DEMYSTIFYING PUBLIC RELATIONS CONSULTANCY: THE STRATEGIC APPROACH AND DIMENSIONS, a one-time chairman of the state chapter of the professional body and public relations consultant, Mr Akin Okudero said going into public relations consultancy required good time management and creativity to succeed.

Quoting the late political sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo that “it's only the deep who can talk to the deep”, the Public Relations guru said practitioners' investment in relationship and networking would pay off I the professional practice
