Gov. Obi flag-off the construction of the St Tomas (Egbu Orizu Junction- Umunem Otolo Nnewi) - -Awka Etiti Road

Anambra State boast of presently having the best network of state and local roads in the federation. With barely 11 months to go before leaving office, Gov. Peter Obi has flagged-off the construction of a dozen more roads within the past three months. When completed, these new roads scattered in 21 LGAs would open up many farming communities in Anambra State and make transportation of people and materials especially food delivery and evacuation easier. Gov. Obi said the State was now focussed on "building the most strategic, investor-attracting and development-inducing roads, with a view to enhancing the already existing enabling environment."
