Bayern Without Ribery Against Arsenal
Bayern Munich will be without Franck Ribery for their Champions League encounter with Arsenal, the Bundesliga leaders said on Monday.
The France international sprained his left ankle in his side's 3-2 defeat of Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday, the club said.
It was not immediately clear whether Ribery would be out for a longer period.
Dutch winger Arjen Robben, who was able to train on Monday after recvoering from a muscle strain, could now start in the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
Bayern will also be without midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and defender Jerome Boateng, who are both suspended. Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo is set to start for Schweinsteiger.
Bayern lead the last-16 tie 3-1 from the first leg in the Emirates Stadium.
