Nigeria Book Their Place In Afcon Final

Nigeria charged into the Africa Cup of Nations final with a crushing 4-1 win over Mali in their semifinal clash in Durban on Wednesday.

Elderson Echiejile, Brown Ideye and Emmanuel Emenike were all on target in a riveting first 45 minutes, and Ahmed Musa scored on the hour mark to stretch the advantage.

Cheick Fantamady pulled one back for Mali with 15 minutes left, but it was little more than a consolation effort.

Nigeria will meet either Burkina Faso or Ghana, who square off in Wednesday's later match in Nelspruit, in Sunday's final.
