BOYS SECONDARY SCHOOL ORAIFITE/ORAIFITE GRAMMAR SCHOOL

Waiting under the canopy for the arrival of ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNOR,MR PETER OBI,OKWUTE NDI IGBO,CON.. consist of OBI of Oraifite His Royal Highness Igwe Dr Dan Udoji,Anumanu Ezeigbo the 8,with him is the Chairman of ORASSCOSS OLD BOYS Prince Chinedu Nsofor,Ohamadike na Oraifite.

The Governor after his arrival and opening Prayer by Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese RT ,REV PROF J.I.N OKPALA ,JP,OON ,the Bishop updated the Governor on the situation of the school and how it was abandoned during the Government take over and how the Church discovered after the school was reverted back to them ,that so many portions of the school land has being encroached upon by some members of the town,some of them has been built upon.The Bishop ask the Governor to advise the school authority on what to do.

The Governor replied to the Bishop that there is nothing for him to advise him upon,that if there is any building erected on the school land,the school should consider it as school property donated by the builder ,but if the school do not like the structure ,they can pull down the house any time they choose to and that is the stand and position of the state on that matter .

The Governor handed over a cheque of 10 million to the Bishop at the pleasure of the school.The Senior Prefect of the school Master Chibike Ibadia was so happy that he was smiling from ear to ear standing at the left hand side of the Governor,while the Principal of the school Mr J.C Nwosu was standing behind the Governor.

The Governor gave the students the standard MINERAL WATER AND BUSCUIT,while the Teachers get Malt.

The Youth Coppers numbering more than 14 were on hand singing and dancing to the Governor,the Governor dipped his hand into his pocket and MADE THEM sing more songs of redeemption.
