EIDUL KABIR: AJIBOLA FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS

By IDRIS KATIB

The former world court judge, Prince Bola Ajibola has congratulated Muslims all over the world on the occasion of 2012 Eidul Kabeer celebrations.

In a statement by his Public Relations Officer, Idris Katib, Judge Ajibola said at his Gbadela Chambers home in Abeokuta on Wednesday that Muslims should reflect on the virtues of Prophet Ibraheem, regarded as father of faith and his son Ismail in this festive period.

He urged Nigerians to live in peace and harmony and pray for the leadership of the country to be able to steer the wheel leadership successfully.

He said God deliberately forbids shedding of human blood and that is the reason Prophet Ibrahim's son was replaced with a ram for sacrifice. He stressed that world's major religions frowned upon shedding of human blood.

Judge Ajibola also enjoined Muslims to pray for repose of the soul of the late National Secretary, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Dr Abdul Lateef Adegbite whom he described as a brilliant jurist and peace-keeper.
