By NBF News

The Super Eagles' camp in Dubai, came alive when national team boss, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, breezed in from the United States as the players vowed to go all out and destroy the might of Pharaohs of Egypt in today's friendly duel in Dubai.

Keshi breezed into Dubai about 7a.m UAE time, that is 3a.m Nigerian time and promptly checked into his room. The team was a little apprehensive when he did not step out for breakfast but were assured by Team Coordinator, Emmanuel Atta, that Keshi was tired and was having a nap to relief the jet lag.

By 12:30pm, when the team had its lunch, Keshi was one of the first to get to the dinning hall in his green white national team colours, with his trade mark smile welcoming players and officials to the hall. After the meal, he asked the players to feel free by shaking off excesses in their body system before going for siesta and get prepared for the last training before the game against Egypt on Thursday evening.

He thereafter held a brief meeting with the national team staff to thank them for their unity while he was away. Keshi's presence , it was noted, boosted the morale of players as his aura fueled the upbeat mood in the hall. Meanwhile, Super Eagles stars, Azubuike Egwueke, Obinna Nwachukwu and Ejike Uzoenyi, say they are in good shape to level the Olympian heights of the Pharaohs of Egypt in Dubai. Towering defender, Egwueke, who spoke first in reaction to the presence of known stars in the Egyptian squad, said: 'They brought names and established stars and we respect them, but we will show on the pitch that we have a team that can compete with the best in world'.

Heartland of Owerri's winger, Nwachukwu, was almost getting angry at the mention of some of the stars that the Egyptians brought to Dubai. 'We are also stars in our own right and our coach has told us and we believe that we are the new face of Nigerian football, that we will show on the pitch today'.

Diminutive Enugu Rangers' winger, Uzoenyi, was all smiles while reacting to the stars in the Egypt's squad.

He said he would allow the ball do the talking as he believed that that Eagles had prepared well enough to withstand any opposition. 'Bros, lets just wait till match day to see the team that parades better stars.
