Nigeria's first Tube site released

Ascology Nigeria has released Nigeria's first Tube (video) service which aims to break into the world's online technology market of video sharing files.

The recently launched website on AscoTube.com was released as part of its aim at launching user-friendly websites to aid users in gaining access to the outer world and connecting with a worldwide audience.

The company which launched its News portal few months ago also said plans are on the way to create similar websites from its full scale entertainment and gossip website to Football, Cars, Jobs, Social networking to name a few.

AscoTube.com serves users the opportunity to upload and watch music videos, movies, online TV news, and other video related files while also featuring and enabling online community, customizable profiles, user channels and ability to create playlists.

“AscoTube.com aim to break the monopoly of the video sharing website technology in Nigeria as only a competitive economy can be described as a fair economy” Laide Osunbo-Akorede, Media and publicity director, Ascology said.

“Using the best technology tools available which took years to build and develop, the site was created and tested days ago and has so far received massive credits from a tested group of audience, now Nigerians can upload their videos and be sure of it gathering massive views than usual or expected from an indigenous website” she added.

The company said it hopes users aid the global audience in their need for more videos by registering and uploading unlimited amount of video related files.

AscoTube also has a YouTube enhanced tool which enables users to import already downloaded video files on YouTube directly to its site with a one-click process.
