Congress for Progressive Change, CPC,  Governorship candidate in the 2012 Adamawa State gubernatorial election, General Mohamed Buba Marwa has told supporters of his ambition in the state to collect money that would be offered them by the opposition party and still vote the candidate of their choice to actualize the change needed in their lives.

Speaking when over 1, 400 Labour Party and PDP supporters in local communities of Girei 1 and Yola South Local Government area in the state decamped to the CPC said, 'the money they (opposition party) would bring to you to influence your decision, is your money. Don't be deceived; they are not doing you any favours. That is the money they were to use in providing food for you, good healthcare, education, infrastructure and water for you. What they will give you is a minute fraction of what belongs to you'.

Speaking to hundreds of men, women and children in communities like Bakopi, Goron, Koh, Damare and Dagri, as his campaign train traversed the seemingly forgotten villages, General Marwa said it was sheer wickedness that in this time and age, many communities in Adamawa state were still relying on ponds, un-treated wells and polluted rivers for cooking and drinking water.

The campaign train also took the CPC candidate to communities like Namtari, Gongoshi, Wauru-Jabbe, and Bole/Yolde-Pate.
