ETV GHANA HOSTS GENEVIEVE NNAJI ON 100 DEGREES AHEAD OF THE PREMIERING OF ‘THE MIRROR BOY’

Accra, 14th June, 2011: Nigeria's television goddess, Genevieve Nnaji will appear on etv Ghana's 100 degrees for an hour of interesting dialogue between her and host of 100 degrees, John Osei Tutu Agyeman. Her appearance on 100 Degrees on etv Ghana this Thursday at 9pm is part of etv Ghana's commitment to promoting her new movie 'The Mirror Boy' which is premiering at the Silverbird Cinemas this weekend.

The one hour interaction with the film actress will focus on several aspects of her life including her career, family life among others.

100 Degrees on etv Ghana is designed to inform, educate and entertain viewers through the interaction between presenter and guest. It is hosted by one of Ghana's celebrated presenters, John Osei Tutu Agyeman. The personalities invited are chosen because of the impact they have made on society; their involvement in important issues; their visible or interesting professional record; or their knowledge on important subjects. The programme also provides a platform for the personality to share with viewers what he or she is currently doing, privately and / or professionally.

According to etv Ghana's General Manager JOT Agyeman, this special edition of the show will promote the new movie Genevieve is featuring in and at the same time give fans of Genevieve the opportunity to get up close and personal with her. “I am sure many of her fans, including myself, have always wanted to know certain things about her that we have not had the chance to, the reasons behind certain actions she's taken among others'.

Genevieve Nnaji has featured in several commercials some of which include Pronto beverage and Omo detergent. In 2004 she became the "Face of Lux" in Nigeria in a highly lucra¬tive sponsor¬ship deal. 2008 saw Nnaji launching a clothing line, "St. Genevieve", which donates its proceeds to charity. In May 2010, Nnaji was appointed to be the official "Face of MUDI" in Nigeria.

Genevieve Nnaji has received several awards and nominations for her work, including the Best Actress of the year award at the 2001 City People Awards and the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2005 African Movie Academy Awards. Some of the popular movies she has acted in include Letters to a Stranger, Critical Decision, Silent Scandal, Rivers of Tears, Bursting Out, Ije: The Journey, Tango with Me, Warrior's Heart, Beautiful Soul, My Idol, among others.
