PDP Cancels Adamawa Ward Congress Election

ABUJA, Jan 01, (THEWILL) -The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cancelled the ward Congresses held in Adamawa State on the 28th of December 2010 with immediate effect.

National Organising Secretary of the party, Prince Uche Secondus today said that a fresh exercise will be held in all wards in Adamawa State on Monday January 3 2011.

He also said the State Assembly primaries have also been shifted to Tuesday, 4th January 2011.

No explanation was given for the decision.
