Portable Offers To Help Revive Terry G's Career Through Boxing Match
Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has extended an unexpected offer to fellow musician Terry G, challenging him to a boxing bout.
In an interview on Rubbin' Minds on Channels Television, Portable suggested that the fight could serve as a platform to relaunch Terry G's career and remind the public of his talent.
Portable, who has built a reputation for himself in the celebrity boxing scene, stated that a one-on-one fight with Terry G would help him rise again. He also made a bold claim about his influence in the music industry, asserting that no Nigerian artiste can win a Grammy without collaborating with him.
He said:
"I want to fight Terry G. If Terry G fights me, one-on-one in boxing, he will rise again. People will remember him again."
"I used my music career to build Nigerian boxing."
"No Nigerian artiste will win a Grammy without featuring me."
Recall that Portable suffered his first defeat at Chaos in the Ring 4, where streamer Carter Efe defeated him via a 30-27 unanimous decision, ending his unbeaten run. Prior to that loss, Portable had built a record with victories over Okocha and Speed Darlington, earning two celebrity boxing belts.
