I Met My Wife At The Club – Vector Tha Viper

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known as Vector Tha Viper, has shared how he met his wife, Yinka Coker, in a nightclub.

Speaking on the MENtality podcast with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Banky W, he debunked the stereotype that clubbers do not make good spouses, describing his wife as "super homely."

Vector recalled that his first attraction to her was when she rapped Heavy D. He argued against rigid societal advice when choosing a life partner, pointing out that he had been warned that there were no good women in the club.

He advised that while counsel from trusted individuals is valuable, personal discernment should ultimately guide one's choices.

He said:
"I met my woman in the club. You will not believe she is super homely. Who would have thought? What was the first attraction? She was rapping Heavy D.

"So, you can't take advice when it comes to a life partner. The typical advice that I heard before then was that there were no good women in the club.

"I am not saying you shouldn't take any advice, you can have a few people who give you good counsel then on your own, you can decide what works for you."

Rapper Vector and his wife, Yinka Coker had a civil wedding in December 2022 and their union is blessed with a daughter.
