Caramel Drags Anita Joseph Over Alleged Photo Theft, Rejects Apology
Content creator Caramel Plug has publicly called out Nollywood actress Anita Joseph for allegedly stealing and digitally altering one of her photos.
In a viral Instagram post, Caramel claimed that an image she had posted, showing her in a cream suit with a coffee brown tie, jacket, and yellow shoes was reposted on Anita's page with the actress's face edited onto her body. She added that her attempts to comment on the post were repeatedly deleted.
In response, Anita issued an apology, blaming an AI studio for the mishap. She explained that her AI boy had used the image as inspiration and edited her face onto it. She expressed regret and apologized to Caramel, stating that she would never intentionally be involved in such a mess.
However, Caramel rejected the apology, telling Anita to ensure her imaginary AI boy does better next time and making it clear that she does not know her personally.
Anita fired back, saying she does not blame Caramel but instead holds the tech studio responsible for the embarrassment.
