Nigerian streamer Oderhowho Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, has fired back at Babcock University after the institution denied the authenticity of his alleged degree certificate.

In a recent livestream, he claimed that the university was looking for him but stated they would not see him unless they pay a N100,000 ticket.

The controversy began when Carter Efe shared what he claimed was a Biochemistry degree from Babcock University with a "First Class Upper" grade, following rapper YCee's comments about the "Olodo uprising" and the decline in education. However, the university quickly denied the document, stating it was false and unauthorized. Babcock made it clear that it does not issue honorary certificates for undergraduate academic performance and does not recognize any classification called "First Class Upper."

In his livestream, Carter Efe also announced that he would be coming to Babcock soon, maintaining his defiance despite the university's warning. The institution had directed all persons involved in the production or circulation of the fraudulent document to cease immediately, warning that it would pursue legal action to protect the integrity of its academic credentials.

He said:

"I hear say una dey find me. Una no go see me until una pay N100,000 ticket for me. Una no go see me."
