Nigerian TikToker and content creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has responded to rapper Ycee's recent comments about what he termed a "Peller culture."

In a video on social media, she blamed the Nigerian government's inability to create jobs for the rise of digital content creation in the country.

Jarvis, while defending her husband-to-be, Peller, supported their content, questioning what people were expected to do when the government failed to provide employment. She stated that she is a graduate and challenged critics to take their concerns to the president.

She also addressed Ycee's remark about "Peller culture," insisting that everyone has their own culture and that she and her man should not be dragged into such narratives.

The content creator further argued that just because she and Peller act funny and try to earn a living does not mean they do not value education. She pointed out that she graduated from the university, questioning why she would be labelled as someone who doesn't care about education.

She said:
"Government didn't provide jobs for us, what exactly did you expect people to do?

I'm a graduate. go and tell that to your president because you can't expect individuals with high intelligence to end up cleaning toilets. You even mention my man as 'Peller culture'. Everybody has their culture, so please don't bring that thing here. Just because we're acting funny and trying to earn a living, you're telling us that we don't want to have education? So what about me, who graduated from University?."

The exchange follows Ycee's recent interview on the Afropolitan podcast, where he expressed concern over what he perceives as a decline in the value placed on education in Nigeria. Ycee had noted that the "Yahoo culture" has now been replaced by what he termed a "Peller culture" and described the "Olodo" uprising as alarming.
