Yvonne Jegede Calls Out President Tinubu And The First Lady Over The Insecurity Crisis
Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has continued to vent out her frustration with the government, calling out the President and his wife to tackle the pressing issues.
In a recent Instagram post, she slammed the government for lacking a sense of humanity.
Calling out President Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, Jegede stressed that crimes happen worldwide, however, the difference is that Nigerians know that nothing will happen after crimes are committed.
She also maintained that none of the recent atrocities have been tribal, religious, or class-based, clamouring for an urgent intervention.
She wrote:
"The Nigerian government lacks a sense of humanity.
@officialasiwajubat @officialoluremitinubu … Nigerians are not doormats, nor are they people you just prey on. Crimes happen everywhere in the world; the fact that Nigerians know that no one will ever come looking for them is the issue. These atrocities have not been tríbal, religious, nor class-based."
Yvonne Jegede has constantly lent her voice to the calls for the end of insecurity ravaging Nigeria. The actress, had in a series of posts on social media expressed her disdain following the recent Oyo abductions involving children and teachers.
