Nigerians Focus On Pastor Adeboye Instead Of Blaming The Government During Crisis – RCCG Pastor, P. Daniel Olawande Vents
Nigerian evangelist and lead pastor of RCCG The Envoys, Pastor Daniel Olawande, popularly known as P. Daniel Olawande, has weighed in on the criticisms directed at the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye.
Reacting to the immense criticisms directed at Pastor Adeboye on his Instagram page, P. Daniel noted how despite several issues of hike in gas prices, egg prices, Iran war, school shooting that occurred in America—the citizens never attacked religious leaders, but instead called out President Trump and demanded solutions to the issues.
Painting a contrast to Nigeria, he berated how several Nigerians have consistently attacked Pastor Adeboye over issues of insecurity, kidnapping, hike in fuel prices, inflation, hardship, and poor power supply.
He wondered why the anger is not fully channeled at the government, instead of criticizing religious leaders.
He wrote:
"AMERICA: Increase in gas prices, increase in egg prices, Iran war, school shooting.
NO ONE BLAMED KENNETH COPELAND OR JOEL OSTEEN
THEY ARE ALL SHOUTING TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP
NIGERIA: Insecurity, kidnapping, increase in fuel prices, increase in the prices of everything, hardship, no light
NIGERIANS ARE CALLING OUT PASTOR ADEBOYE, PASTOR ADEBOYE, PASTOR ADEBOYE.
And they leave out the PRESIDENT AND ELECTED OFFICERS
Nigeria is just different, Kai."
