Davido Labels Former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola As 'Most Desperate Politician'

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has fired shots at Adegboyega Oyetola, the former Governor of Osun State.

Gboyega Oyetola was the Governor of Osun State from 2018 to 2022, and currently serves as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.

Davido, who currently heads the Youth Mobilization for his Uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke's gubernatorial re-election, took to the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter) to lambast Oyetola, labelling him as the most desperate politician in the world, an act he described as "embarrassing."

He wrote:
"The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing."

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that Davido was recently appointed as the head of youth mobilization of the campaign for his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke's Osun gubernatorial re-election campaign.

The news which had first made the rounds on social media, was eventually confirmed by Davido in a post on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to him, he has received an appointment from Governor Adeleke to head the youth mobilization campaign council for his re-election. The singer further affirmed his commitment to a smooth campaign and a successful re-election.
