"We're Building A Real Model For What Touring Across Nigeria Should Look Like" - Davido's Manager, Asa Asika Speaks On 5alive Nigerian Tour
Asa Asika, the manager of Afrobeats star Davido, has shared the motive behind the decision to host a 5alive Nigerian tour across several states in the country.
The talent manager, via his Instagram page, shared that the Afrobeats genre has gone global, however, sustainable touring begins at home.
Speaking on what birthed the decision to host the Nigerian 5alive tour, Asika revealed that he and his team are building a model for what touring across Nigeria should look like.
"Afrobeats has gone global, but sustainable touring starts at home.
"We're building a real model for what touring across Nigeria should look like city by city, venue by venue," he shared.
He also revealed that he and the 30BG team have already toured 3 states with Enugu being their third state, stating that proper planning would definitely achieve results.
"Enugu marks our 3rd stop on this run, and it's proof that with proper planning, it can be done."
Asa Asika further shared that he has toured the world and been to over 20 states in Nigeria, noting how the energy and demand for musical experience is high despite the underdeveloped infrastructure. He also shared how he and Davido had a conversation about giving Nigerians and the fans who made them what they are today a tour in 2017.
"I've toured the world and been to over 20 states across Nigeria the energy and demand are here, even if the infrastructure is far from perfect.
David and I spoke about this in 2017, and this year I was determined to pull it off and reconnect with the fans that made us who we are today," he added.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Davido, who had been on a world tour of his 5th studio album '5ive,' announced his decision to host a tour in Nigeria, sharing that he would be visiting 5 states in the process.
The singer has already dropped electrifying performances in 3 states including, Akwa Ibom (Uyo) on October 26, 2025, Adamawa (Yola) on October 29, 2025, and Enugu on November 1, 2025.
